Flexible Work Arrangements: 2017 Survey Results revealed 94% of U.S. organizations provide some type of flexible work arrangement. Organizations offer these arrangements to create work-life balance for workers, enhance worker morale , and attract a talented workforce.
Telecommuting is one of the most popular flexible work arrangements organizations offer. Most (80%) telecommuting arrangements are ad hoc, where telework is performed on an occasional, one-time or irregular basis but 65% of employers offer telecommuting on a regular basis.
