Patrick Baillie Ph.D., LL.B.

Dr. Patrick Baillie is a psychologist and a lawyer with over 27 years of career experience. Since completing his psychology doctoral degree in Virginia in 1992, he has worked in a forensic outpatient program in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Baillie has served the Alberta Provincial Court as legal counsel, and he has also been a consulting psychologist with the Calgary Police Service for many years. Dr. Baillie was named to the Mental Health and the Law Advisory Committee of the Mental Health Commission of Canada and later became chair of that committee. He currently serves as a member of the International Foundation’s Mental Health and Addictions Expert Panel. Dr. Baillie appears frequently before the courts, usually as an expert witness and only occasionally as an accused.
