David Dorsey CPA

David P. Dorsey is an audit partner in the CPA firm WithumSmith+Brown, PC. He previously served as the managing partner of Bond Beebe. Dorsey has over 30 years’ experience in providing accounting and  auditing services for local, national and international labor organizations and related employee benefit plans and has expertise in all aspects of federal reporting and compliance. In addition, he has performed highly specialized work in forensic and operational auditing and has often  been called upon to testify as an expert witness in these areas. Dorsey has also managed audits for a variety of other clients, including private schools, trade associations, and social service and other not-for-profit organizations. He currently serves as an Advisory Director on the International Foundation Board of Directors; previously chaired its Financial Review and Professionals Committees and was a member of its Educational Programs Committee. He has taught accounting and auditing courses for the International Foundation, the National Labor College and the University of Maryland. Dorsey earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
