Travis Ketterman GBA

Travis J. Ketterman is a partner with the Chicago law firm of McGann, Ketterman & Rioux. His practice is devoted to representing multiemployer trust funds and labor organizations. Ketterman also served as an adjunct professor for the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he taught appellate advocacy for 21 years. His first book, Collecting Employer Contributions: The ERISA Litigation Guide, was published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Ketterman wrote various chapters in the Foundation’s seventh and eighth editions of the Trustee Handbook, including chapters on Collection Litigation and Trustee Expense and Educational Policies. He served as a contributor to the second edition of Payroll Auditing: A Guide for Multiemployer Plans published by the Foundation in 2013. Ketterman published numerous articles in various bar journals, all involving the federal practice of law. The Illinois State Bar Association awarded the Lincoln Legal Writing Award to Ketterman. He was named as one of the “Rising Stars” of the Illinois legal community by Chicago Magazine. Ketterman served two different terms on the Foundation’s Professionals Committee for seven years. He graduated from Marquette University with a triple major in political science, philosophy and criminology and received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
