We believe our proprietary cash flow matching product (Liability Beta Portfolio™ or LBP) is the best fit for the pension objective… to secure benefits in a cost-effective manner with prudent risk. Our LBP is a cost optimization model using investment grade bonds that produces the lowest cost portfolio that will fund the benefits and expenses. Our LBP will reduce the volatility of the funded ratio and contribution costs by about 2% per year such that funding 1-10-year liabilities results in a roughly 20% funding cost reduction.
