Strengthen your knowledge on required responsibilities as a multiemployer trustee by attending Trustees Institute—Level II: Concepts in Practice. Held immediately prior to the Trustees and Administrators Institute, this course will take the concepts and education provided at the New Trustees Institute—Level I: Core Concepts and go into more depth and applicability, expanding on need-to-know topics. Discover best practices, identify solutions and find answers to your questions by attending this exciting program. Class size is limited to foster deeper comprehension and peer-to-peer discussion.

Having a good negotiations process supports positive relationships and drives better outcomes. This workship will give you an overview of the collective bargaining process and provide tips and tools you need to manage for a successful outcome. The course will review different collective bargaining structures, building and managing a bargaining committee,  negotiation techniques, and the process of exchanging proposals to reach an agreement. New and experienced collective bargaining participants alike will leave with a stronger understanding of one of the most critical processes in a union workplace. Topics include:
