A Message From Our Canadian Board Officers Regarding the 58th Annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference
Greetings,
As we approach the 58th Annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference, we are closely following announcements from the new administration in the United States and their impact on Canadians. We will continue to monitor the situation as it changes.
Since 1968, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans has proudly worked in tandem with Canadian pension and benefits leaders to create educational opportunities that serve the needs and interests of Canadian pension and benefits plan practitioners. More than 45 Canadian volunteers serve on the Canadian Board of Directors and several committees to maximize the educational experience of attendees. In addition to board and committee volunteers, Foundation staff members in the Ontario and Québec areas help develop relevant Canadian education while collaborating with local professionals and experts.
The Canadian Annual Conference is planned, built and presented by Canadian industry leaders. The educational experience of our attendees is always our mission and top priority. Due to the scope and complexity of the program, the location and venue for the Canadian Annual Conference are often booked over five years in advance and have historically alternated between the U.S. and Canada.
The Foundation will continue offering an educational environment grounded in objective and actionable information for our diverse pension and benefits community. This year’s Canadian Annual Conference is no exception. We hope you will consider joining us.
However, should current events influence your ability to attend the Canadian Annual Conference this year, you may prefer to attend a comprehensive educational program in Canada.
