Canadian Health and Wellness Innovations Conference
Fiduciary Wellness and Resilience
February 25, 2024 | 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and includes breakfast
Join Dr. Melissa Melnitzer, M.D. and lawyer-mediator Ari Kaplan for a workshop on building your personal and professional resilience skills. Their perspective on wellness is that each person's self-care needs are unique and can be developed with small steps, not in the big leaps sold by the self-help industry. Dr. Melnitzer will teach her module, 15-Minute Beginnings, drawing on her experience as a physician who personally recovered from burnout and has since trained over a thousand professionals. Mr. Kaplan is a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and author who will lead some practical techniques that you can take home with you and integrate into your day-to-day life.
This workshop retreat offers:
- A protected space to meaningfully reflect on your personal wellbeing
- Simple yet powerful practices to support yourself moving forward
- Beginner and intermediate mindfulness practices and skills
