Slevin & Hart, P.C., a law firm with a specialized practice in employee benefits, seeks an experienced compliance associate. With particular expertise in representing Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit plans, we are proud that our work assists union-represented workers across the United States.  We are a nationwide practice covering many different industries and are one of the few firms whose employee benefits practice is not a department within the firm – the firm’s entire mission is to represent employee benefit plans.  If you have an interest in advocating for the rights of workers through the delivery of retirement, health, and other employee benefits, please consider applying.

The position also provides the opportunity to work in a collegial environment using a team-oriented approach, working side-by-side with experienced employee benefit attorneys. The position offers the opportunity for significant client contact and management of client work. Candidates interested in applying for the compliance associate position should have at least two (2) years of experience, including demonstrated experience with employee benefit plan issues arising under ERISA. Candidates should have exemplary writing and analytical skills, a strong academic background and DC bar membership or eligibility to waive into the DC bar. The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $220,000 depending on the candidate’s level of experience in this field and law school graduation date.
